Local hoopster gaining court time playing AAU ball

Briana Hutchinson, currently a sophomore at Livingston High School, is gaining valuable court time playing AAU basketball for the 3T Franchize 16U team.

The team recently competed at the Hoopstar Fest in Pasadena, where they brought home first place and received a plaque and medals for their effort.

Coached by Melvin Marks and Broderick Williams, the 3T Franchize squad got off to a great start in their AAU basketball season by posting wins over Team Choice (34-20), Team Faith (41-15) and Hoopstar (38-17).

Hutchinson’s teammates include Sierra Fuller (Cypress Lakes), Morrison Neal (Splendora), Essence Richards (Tomball Memorial), Cameron Thompson (Cy-Fair), Kayia

Jackson (Summer Creek), Tevin Hainey (Waltrip), Ashley Edwards (Waltrip), Lauren Romo (Atascocita), Ah’Jaya Johnson (Oak Ridge) and Laurin Gregory (Oak Ridge).
