LIVINGSTON -- A 45-year-old Livingston man was being held in the Polk County Jail this week under a $100,000 bond after being charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Charles Lamar Flournoy was being held on the first-degree felony complaint.
According to Polk County Sheriff’s Office reports, on Sunday, July 30, investigators received a report that an 11-year-old child has made an outcry involving sexual assault. A forensic interview of the child was conducted on Monday at the Childrenz Haven child advocacy center in Livingston.
Based on information obtained during that interview, a warrant for the arrest of Flournoy was issued charging him with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
